anyways i took a rly long hiatus cuz my laptop broke and my new phone has like 4gb space so i had to delete my da app

Honestly I'm so done right now. A bombing at a children's park killed 71 here, with over 300 injured. Does anyone know? No. Does anyone give a shit? Probably not. It's absolutely devastating that among the casualties were 30 kids. They were targeted because it was Easter. Is this the country we want? Pakistan, stand the fuck up. My city is in a state of emergency right now because of the bombing. I heard the fucking sirens. We had to cancel everything because of the terror threat. Is this the kind of world we want to live in? Where sending your child to school or a park could put their lives at risk?
On top of this, I have not seen a single major media channel cover this more than the headlines at the bottom of the screen. Do our lives not matter because of the fact that we are not European? Is there a specific amount of "western" you want us to become before we are worthy of your sympathy? All we want is support. Our country is hurting. Yes, so is Brussels, and so is Turkey, and so is Iraq, and we stand with all of them. We stand with the people who have lost their friends and family to these terror attacks, regardless of the fact of whether they're from Europe, the Middle East or wherever. All we ask in return is acknowledgement. Acknowledgement of the fact that we are human, and that our children matter.
